Our pasta is made with free run eggs
from Black Creek and 100% durum
semolina flour. We make two pastas
that are made with 100% organic
spelt flour and 100% organic kamut
flour rather than wheat flour. All
of our pasta ingredients are 100%
natural and preservative free. Our
pasta will last in the fridge for up
to 10 days. It can also be frozen
(it is important that it is put
straight from frozen into boiling
water). Of course, it's always
better to eat pasta when it is at
its freshest! Pasta is available in
250g bags and 500g bags.
Our Pestos are made with pure,
natural ingredients and are free of
preservatives. We use local produce
of the season to make our pestos
when possible. The base for all of
our pestos is olive oil, Grana Di
Padano cheese, and pine nuts
(excluding walnut pesto). The result
is a very concentrated flavour that
goes a long way. Pestos are
available in 100g and 200g sizes.
In addition to the products
listed below we also sell large
stuffed shells and lasagnas, meat
from local producers (such as
Halstead Chicken Farm, Butcher's
Block, Island Bison, Estevan Tuna,
Natural Pastures Cheese), locally
baked artisan bread from The Comox
Valley Bakehouse. You can also find
fine Italian items to compliment
your meal like extra virgin olive
oil, truffle oil, truffle purée,
caper berries, grilled mediterranean
veggies, mixed olives, and balsamic
vinegar to name a few!
